Summer is a season associated with hot dry weather. In this season, people take advantage of the warmer temperatures by spending more time outside their house. Many people like going to the beach or taking picnic in the beautiful weekend with their family. Besides, people can do many kinds of sports in summer, such as cricket, volleyball, tennis and football.
However, the sunlight in summer is too fierce to skin. Taking extra care of your skin will be much more important because your skin is the mirror of your body, which strongly reflects your inner state and body needs.
So, what affects skin condition most in our daily life?
With the healthy nutrition to our skin, you will find that your skin is smooth, moist, fresh and vital. On the contrary, poor nutrition and lack of essential nutrients lead to a pale, rough, dehydrated and irritated skin.
In summer, the temperature is high and the weather is dry, which means that you should take good care of your skin in order to stay fresh, healthy and free of blemishes, especially you are exposed to the sun, your skin really need the extra attention.

1. The skin is exposed to the sun for long periods.
2. The skin is exposed to the sun between 10 in morning and 2 in the afternoon.
3. When the skin is dehydrated and in need of water.
What should be done to protect the skin from sunlight in summer?
1. Don't expose to direct sunlight, especially between 10am and 2pm.
Stay indoors. Or if you have to go out, make sure you apply sunscreen, and take a cap, a hat or an umbrella with you.
2. Enough water is essential to keep your skin and body in good condition
One should drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, besides juices or other fluids.
3. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Many fruits and vegetables contain abundant vitamin C. Vitamin C plays a major role in keeping the skin looking healthy.
And foods like almonds, walnuts, and avocado contain lots of vitamin E, which helps keep the skin moist and prevents its dehydration.
4. Enrich your diet with foods that are rich in antioxidants
Foods such as colored fruits and vegetables (green, orange and red), nuts and seeds.
5. Avoid highly salted foods.
High salt intake leads to water retention and bloating, especially if you are not drinking enough water.
